The positions are available at <strong>Boston Logan International Airport </strong>and <strong>East Boston Parks </strong>in East Boston as well as <strong>Laurence G. Hanscom Field</strong>&nbsp;in Bedford, MA. &nbsp;We also have opportunities within our Maritime division, located at the&nbsp;<strong>Conley Terminal</strong>&nbsp;in South Boston.&nbsp;</p><p>We look forward to welcoming enthusiastic students to our team for the summer!&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ABOUT YOU</strong></p><p>These positions are ideal for students who thrive in both indoor and outdoor environments, performing daily maintenance and other operational tasks that keep our airport and maritime facilities functioning smoothly. &nbsp;This is an excellent opportunity for students to acquire practical job skills.&nbsp;</p><p>Students will be assigned to work areas based on their interests and place of residence. Some areas may require day or evening schedules. &nbsp;Please specify any scheduling restrictions at the time of hire.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Logan International Airport in East Boston, MA</strong></p><p>Customer Service</p><ul><li>Represents Massport by providing best-in-class customer support to passengers throughout the terminals.</li><li>Assist travelers with directions, answering basic questions about airport services, and supporting queue management during peak travel times.</li><li>Promotes Boston and New England tourist attractions, hospitality services and Logan Modernization through Massport’s Customer Service programs.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;Aviation Operations</p><ul><li>Assisting busing operations for passenger’s whose aircraft is parked at a remote hardstand, including helping facilitate bus loading and unloading.</li><li>Support Operations personnel with various Terminal E arrival/departure duties.</li></ul><p><strong>East Boston Parks in East Boston, MA</strong></p><p>Facilities Maintenance</p><ul><li>Support maintenance staff with daily upkeep of waterfront and park facilities, including light landscaping, litter collection, and general beautification tasks.</li><li>Assist with basic repairs and maintenance activities, such as painting, equipment cleaning, and seasonal preparation of park spaces.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Laurence G. Hanscom Field in Bedford, MA</strong></p><p>Airfield Duties</p><ul><li>Maintain the airfield’s neat appearance by trimming grass around runway and taxiway signs and lights.</li><li>Assist with the painting of airfield and landside markings. Contribute to cleanliness by removing Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and trash both airside and landside.</li></ul><p><strong>Conley Terminal in South Boston, MA</strong></p><p>Facilities Maintenance</p><ul><li>Engage in landscaping and meticulous grass cutting to maintain the aesthetic appeal of our facilities.</li><li>Perform weed whacking tasks to ensure clean and well-manicured grounds.</li><li>Undertake hand painting tasks to enhance the visual appeal and longevity of our infrastructure.</li></ul><p><strong>WHAT YOU OFFER</strong></p><p><strong>To be considered for a Summer Students job, students must be:</strong></p><ul><li>At least 18-years-old</li><li>Available to work at least 40 hours per week over the summer</li><li>Preference will be given to students residing in the City of Boston, Chelsea, Revere or Winthrop&nbsp;</li><li>Able to pass a Massport controlled substances test and security background check</li></ul><p><strong>WHAT WE OFFER</strong></p><p>Collaboration with colleagues at all levels of leadership from all different disciplines, from Aviation to Maritime and beyond.
