    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a skilled <em><strong>Lead/Foreman Security Technician</strong></em> to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of enterprise-level access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems in medium and large commercial buildings.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Install and program access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.</li>\n <li>Work with systems such as Lenel RS2, Software House (CCURE), Hanwha, DMP, Bosch, Brivo, Hikvision, Avigilon, and Milestone.</li>\n <li>Execute installation project plans, including delivery, troubleshooting, and commissioning, to exceed customer expectations.</li>\n <li>Interface with other trades, communicate effectively with building foremen, and identify out-of-scope requests, notifying management of pending changes.</li>\n <li>Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.</li>\n <li>Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and make necessary repairs or adjustments.</li>\n <li>Attend training classes as assigned and assist with suggested solutions for efficient installations.</li>\n <li>Communicate project status effectively to project management and complete all required company paperwork.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>5+ years of work experience as a Senior/Lead Technician with a security integrator (including current manufacturer certifications).</li>\n <li>Preferred manufacturer certifications in the following areas:</li>\n <li>Video Surveillance: Avigilon, Genetec, Milestone, Bosch, Axis, Hanwha, Exacq.</li>\n <li>Access Control: Lenel, Software House, Avigilon, Genetec, Identiv, Honeywell, Open Path, RS2, S2, AMAG, Gallagher, Open Options.</li>\n <li>Intrusion: DMP, DSC, Honeywell, Bosch.</li>\n <li>Locking Hardware: Maglocks, Strikes, Mortise, Cylindrical, ADA applications.</li>\n <li>Industry experience working with access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems.</li>\n <li>Experience in sectors such as healthcare, education, manufacturing, utilities, financial, and hospitality.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in data terminations.</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.</li>\n <li>Applicants must meet requirements related to background and driving records.</li>\n <li>Proficient in the use and application of industry-related equipment, including MS Office.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.</li>\n <li>Ability to explain and demonstrate the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.</li>\n <li>Ability to work from ladders or man lifts at extended heights.</li>\n <li>Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.</li>\n <li>Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.</li>\n <li>Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools as required, and lifting up to 75 lbs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>HCI Systems Inc. is a licensed C-7, C-10 and C-16 low voltage systems integration contractor offering a full spectrum of services including sales, engineering, installation, service, and maintenance with over 600 employees in our seven branches.
