We are looking for empathetic, experienced mental health professionals to come along side us in this endeavor!</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Role:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Through a respectful, constructive and energetic style, guided by the mission of the clinic, a therapist will seek to facilitate hope and change in the lives of their clients who have been affected by cancer. A therapist is responsible for accepting referrals and maintaining a client load (minimum 15 clinical hours per week).</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Primary Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Counsel clients or patients individually and/or within family sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, or making changes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Make internal referrals to IOP if little to no improvement occurs within 8 weeks of OP therapy.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Guide clients in the development of skills or strategies for dealing with their problems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge, establishing SMART goals with the patient. Treatment plans are to be developed 72 hours after intake and updated / modified every 4 weeks.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Fill out and maintain client-related paperwork, including client diagnostic records and progress notes. Progress notes are to be developed 48 hours after every session.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Evaluate clients' physical or mental condition, based on review of client information.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Collaborate with other staff members to perform clinical assessments or develop treatment plans within 2 days of establishing care with the existing patient.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or to specialists as necessary.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Learn about new developments in counseling by reading professional literature, attending courses and seminars, or establishing and maintaining contact with other social service agencies.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Masters Degree from an accredited college or university</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Two years of professional level experience in a counselor setting</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Current and active license to practice behavioral health in Texas, Louisiana or Tennessee</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">2+ years experience in healthcare with oncology</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">1 year experience in Telehealth Settings</span></li>\n</ul>",
