They are proof of our dedication to creating a dynamic, inclusive environment that fuels innovation and the gold standard of patient care we strive for.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong><u>What will you be doing:</u></strong></span></p>\n<p><span>The Facilities Planning, Design &amp; Construction (FPD&amp;C) Senior Interior Designer will manage all projects requiring interior design services on a prioritized basis under the direction of the Interior Design Manager, and input from Space Planners, Architects, and Project Managers.&nbsp;&nbsp;Projects may range from interior assessments to large capital projects.&nbsp;&nbsp;In the course of providing these services, the Senior Interior Designer will manage the interior design portion of the project from conception to completion, develop subsequent Construction-in-Progress applications; oversee procurement or movement of furnishings; track schedule, budget, and quality.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Senior Interior Designer will work in close coordination with the entire Project Delivery Team, including FPD&amp;C architects, medical planners, project managers, signage and wayfinding, project coordinators, finance, and other CSHS stakeholders.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Senior Interior Designer will also work closely with and guide external consultants, architects, interior designers, engineers, contractors, and vendors.</span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Develops and maintains interior design standards that set the quality of the spaces where Cedars-Sinai (CS) works and delivers care. Ensures that the interior spaces are in alignment with the level of quality set for the project.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Responsible for leading medium to large-scale projects and supporting&nbsp; mega -scale projects from conception to completion.</span></li>\n <li><span>Prepares A&amp;E and GC Request for Proposal (RFP) for consultants and contractors.&nbsp;Evaluates proposals and recommend design team members.</span></li>\n <li><span>Mentors interior designers and provide guidance and oversight as needed.</span></li>\n <li><span>Initiates Project Start-up that defines the scope, budget, schedule, and quality including project parameters, project approach, and identifying potential risks and issues.</span></li>\n <li><span>Evaluates client/customer and associated space requirements and make appropriate design recommendations as needed.</span></li>\n <li><span>Develops interior design recommendations including proposed color and material scheme, furniture layout, furniture selection, and scope of work for review and approval.</span></li>\n <li><span>Creates Design Documentation for non-permitted and permitted projects including floor plans, elevations, section details, material specifications, equipment plans, furniture plans, and furniture specifications.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Provides input in the development of move plans, phasing, and space activation based on furniture reconfiguration, delivery, and space readiness.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Reviews consultant and vendor’s design recommendation&nbsp; to ensure compliance with campus and system standards.</span></li>\n <li><span>Fosters collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a cohesive design and seamless transition from design to construction.</span></li>\n <li><span>Sets end-user expectations and maintain alignment with approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality at all times.&nbsp; Evaluate, analyze, and mitigate potential risks.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Works in close collaboration with the furniture vendor and FPD&amp;C team to manage the existing furniture inventory system.</span></li>\n</ul>",
