You will be on your feet throughout the day, working both indoors and outdoors, supporting customers, picking and preparing orders, receiving product, operating equipment, and keeping the warehouse and yard organized and safe.</p>\n<p>This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys physical, practical work, takes pride in doing things properly, and brings a positive attitude to a fast-paced team environment.</p>\n<h2>Here's a Snapshot of How You'll Contribute to Our Team </h2>\n<p><strong>What a Typical Day Looks Like</strong></p>\n<p>This role is not limited to traditional shipping and receiving. On a typical day, your work may include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Picking, pulling, and preparing customer orders from inventory</li>\n <li>Loading and unloading trucks, shipments, and customer orders</li>\n <li>Receiving product and putting inventory away accurately</li>\n <li>Handling pipe, fittings, and other warehouse/yard materials</li>\n <li>Assisting customers in the yard or warehouse as needed</li>\n <li>Operating a forklift or other equipment safely</li>\n <li>Keeping the warehouse, yard, and product areas clean, organized, and safe</li>\n <li>Completing required paperwork and system transactions accurately</li>\n <li>Working outdoors in different weather conditions, including rain, heat, and cold</li>\n <li>Supporting your team members where needed to keep the branch running smoothly</li>\n</ul>\n<p>As a general guide, the role is approximately:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>50%</strong> picking, pulling, and preparing customer orders</li>\n <li><strong>30%</strong> receiving, unloading, and putting product away</li>\n <li><strong>20%</strong> yard/warehouse organization, cleanup, and general branch support</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What Will Help You Succeed</strong></p>\n<p>You will be successful in this role if you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in maintaining a safe and organized workspace, and work well with both customers and team members. Success also requires reliability, attention to detail, the ability to manage a steady workload, and a willingness to learn new products, systems, and processes. Previous experience in warehouse, yard, construction, trades, industrial, landscaping, logistics, or similar environments is an asset.</p>\n<p><strong>What to Expect</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a busy branch environment where priorities can shift throughout the day.
