ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><p><br />On the day of commencement (6/13/26), the Student Driver/Assistant is responsible for supporting guests, especially ADA or those who have trouble walking, by transporting them to certain destinations. Key responsibilities include:</p><p></p><ul><li><p>Driving an SCU cart to transport ADA guests during undergraduate commencement and graduate commencement ceremonies; will transport guests from their vehicles to Steven&#39;s stadium and from Steven&#39;s stadium back to their vehicles</p></li><li><p>Fostering a welcoming environment for guests and graduates during commencement</p></li><li><p>Transporting CSS Umbrella staff members to various posts if needed<br /> </p></li></ul><p>Other duties as assigned:</p><ul><li><p>Outside of commencement day, assisting Parking and Transportation Services with various tasks</p></li></ul><p></p><p>B. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p><ul><li><p>On the day of commencement, considerable time is spent sitting in a golf cart and driving</p></li><li><p>Outside of commencement day, considerable time is spent at a desk using a computer terminal</p></li></ul><p></p><p>C. WORK ENVIRONMENTS:</p><ul><li><p>Outdoors on Santa Clara University campus</p></li><li><p>Typical office environment</p></li></ul><p>D.
