Description
OVERVIEW
Cadrex is searching for an Assembly Department Lead who will be responsible for managing and supervising the assembly department, ensuring smooth operations, high-quality output, and a motivated workforce. Your strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills will contribute to the success of the assembly department. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, you will drive a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of assembly line leads and assemblers, providing guidance and fostering a positive work environment Plan, organize, and coordinate assembly activities to meet production schedules and quality standards Collaborate with the Production Manager to establish production goals, prioritize tasks, and optimize resource allocation Monitor assembly processes to ensure products are assembled accurately, efficiently, and according to specifications Conduct regular quality inspections, implement corrective actions, and ensure adherence to quality control procedures Drive the implementation of best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly department Train and develop assembly personnel, identifying training needs and providing opportunities for skill enhancement Maintain and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain, to address operational issues and collaborate on process improvements Analyze production metrics, identify trends, and report performance data to senior management
