Come work where you play—and help us inspire healthier, happier lives for everyone!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensures the safety of the children in the program at all times (including on field trips and at the pool).</li>\n <li>Responsible for direct interaction with the children in games, activities, and free play.</li>\n <li>Ensures that both JCPRD and KDHE guidelines are followed.</li>\n <li>Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized program.</li>\n <li>Effectively communicate with parents, children, supervisors, and co-workers.</li>\n <li>Must Exhibit Initiative by demonstrating leadership without being prompted.</li>\n <li>Display professionalism always.</li>\n <li>Provide excellent customer service.</li>\n <li>Attend all required in-service trainings and meetings.</li>\n <li>Enjoy the outdoors </li>\n <li>Additional duties as assigned by the Program Director or Assistant Program Director</li>\n <li><strong>Salary:  $14.00 per hour</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>Outdoor Summer Camp locations are at Big Bull Creek, Heritage Park, Antioch Park, Stoll Park, Harmon Park, Shawnee Mission Park, and Trail Ridge Middle School. </em></strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monday - Friday, hours will vary between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.  Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.</em></strong></p>\n<h2>Job Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum age of 18 years and older.</li>\n <li>High School Graduate or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Some experience with children. </li>\n <li>Pass KBI background check.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Preferred Job Requirements: </u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>One year experience working with children 5-12 years of age in a licensed childcare setting.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions.  Specified criteria may vary by Department.</em></strong></p>",
