Performs work requiring independent judgment and critical thinking. Adapts standards and criteria to project requirements and possess a diverse working knowledge of related disciplines. The Senior Job Captain is responsible for coordination of the Contract Documents and provides support and guidance to other technical staff as needed to successfully deliver contracted work.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Additional Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Assist the Project Manager in completing Project Manager Checklist and utilizing Project Management Road Map Tools.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Assist the Project Manager in reviewing current and future workload to determine staff assignments.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Research, establish, and adhere to requirements and codes enforced by authorities having jurisdiction at all project phases.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Maintain continuous flow of critical information. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Assist in monitoring the performance of the support staff and provide assessment to Project Manager.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Assist staff in development of industry knowledge and architectural skills. Engage in learning and understanding all relevant new codes, technologies, and materials.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Attend kick-off meetings. &nbsp;Verify site-specific requirements and understand project criteria, design intent, scope of work, and client expectations. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Continuously review the development of the Contract Documents.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Responsible for the development of project detailing required to convey design intent.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Monitor the progress, coordination, and quality of documents. &nbsp;Verify compliance with office standards. &nbsp;Review changes and/or corrections with team members.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Monitor the development and coordination of consultant documents (Civil, and A/E &ndash; SMEP/FP). &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Obtain supervisory approval on proposed project plans prior to issuance.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Prepare and submit documents for agency review. &nbsp;Review and coordinate agency comments, make corrections, and resubmit for permit clearance.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Prepare and issue bid documents. &nbsp;Respond to contractor questions during the bid process. &nbsp;In collaboration with Project Manager revise plans and issue addenda if required.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Prepare and issue contract documents. &nbsp;Respond to RFIs, shop drawings and submittals.
