font-size: 16px;\"><br></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong><u>CORE RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></span></p><ol><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Greet store visitors in a courteous and professional manner. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Learn about the store products and bulk materials to better assist customers and facilitate sales. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Answer the store phones in a professional and timely manner and respond to messages within 24 business hours.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Use the point of sale (POS) system to ring up customers and process returns, orders, and transfers.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Operate store machinery, including forklifts, wheel loaders, and water truck when needed.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Report to Store Manager when equipment is in need of maintenance.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Check basic equipment operating parts &ndash; e.g., fluid levels, safety devices, air filters, etc.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Tend to the grounds and work with the Store Manager to make site improvements.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Keep garden center grounds neat, clean, safe and organized and assist with routine maintenance.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Assist with product labeling and pricing.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Communicate with Store Manager when &nbsp;inventory is damaged or in need of replenishing</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Assist with inventory audits. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Set up displays and rearrange store items as required.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Keep the inside displays and shelves well stocked and the bagged goods stocked outside. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Assist with daily custodial duties, including restroom maintenance. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Comply with company safety policies and with Occupational Health &amp;
