      "Value": "<strong>Litigation Senior Counsel - Decatur, IL OR Chicago, IL</strong><br>This is an exempt level position.<br><br><strong>Position Summary:</strong><br>Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel, Litigation, the Litigation Senior Counsel will manage litigation and disputes for the Company, focusing on insured litigation and litigation practice management, including eDiscovery.<br><br><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong><ul><li>Oversee a significant litigation docket of active cases.</li><li>Handle disputes in a proactive manner and anticipate and mitigate risks to achieve the best result for the Company.</li><li>Manage government and third-party requests for information related to pending or threatened regulatory inquiries.</li><li>Select and manage outside counsel efficiently while maximizing value and utilize innovative models to budgeting legal spend.</li><li>Report on litigation risk and reserves as part of Company’s financial disclosure process.</li><li>Provide eDiscovery legal support throughout the Company.</li><li>Partner within Litigation &amp; Regulatory Law team to further litigation best practices and provide lessons-learned training to business teams and internal stakeholders.</li></ul><strong>Job Requirements:</strong><ul><li>Illinois licensed attorney with at least five (5) years’ litigation experience.</li><li>Demonstrated experience handling complex litigation and disputes, with a focus on insured litigation.</li><li>Familiarity with insurance coverage for claims, including reserving and reporting requirements.</li><li>Outstanding advocacy, presentation, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to build relationships and positively influence outcomes.</li><li>Work independently with general supervision and direction from the Assistant General Counsel, Litigation in furtherance of Litigation &amp; Regulatory Law team goals and the Company’s strategic plan.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment handling multiple competing tasks simultaneously to closure.</li><li>Highly motivated, proactive, self-disciplined and team-oriented.</li><li>Committed to ADM values: integrity, respect, excellence, resourcefulness, teamwork, and responsibility.</li><li>The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented, experienced lawyer with a strong complex litigation and litigation management background, preferably with a large global company, top-tier law firm, or government, with experience managing outside counsel, evaluating litigation risk, and setting strategy on a case-by-case level.&nbsp;</li></ul><div>Excited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
