    "description": "<p>The Avenue Church Care Team is a team of childcare staff who work closely with our church. We provide childcare to our weekday and weeknight programs, along with filling in spots during our Sunday services. We have a rewarding, fun, and engaging atmosphere! We build relationships with our kids and families while providing an environment where our children can learn about Jesus!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, be able to provide a safe and nurturing environment, and have the ability to implement a pre planned curriculum. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing care for children of various ages, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times, and helping them develop socially, emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create a safe and nurturing environment for children.</li>\n<li>Implement provided age-appropriate biblical curriculum.</li>\n<li>Maintain records of behaviors, and progress.</li>\n<li>Supervise and monitor the safety of children in their care.</li>\n<li>Provide guidance to children on social interactions, and other skills.</li>\n<li>Assist with room clean up at the end of each shift.</li>\n<li>Communicate with parents about their child's behavior.</li>\n<li>Change diapers in age appropriate rooms.</li>\n<li>Engage with children during worship and activities.</li>\n<li>Be comfortable with assisting children who are potty training.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Shift Schedule:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sunday shifts: 9am-10:45am, 10:45am-12:30pm, 6:00pm-8:15pm (optional)</li>\n<li>Monday: 6:15pm-9:15pm (optional)</li>\n<li>Tuesday: 5:45pm-8:15pm (optional)</li>\n<li>Wednesdays: 9am-11:30am <span><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">(mandatory</span>)</span>, 6pm-8:15pm (optional)</li>\n<li>Thursdays: 6pm-8:15pm (optional)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Requirements:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 1 year of professional childcare experience required.</li>\n<li>CPR certification is preferred.</li>\n<li>Flexibility and willingness to work with multiple age groups.</li>\n<li>Be able to lift children up to 50lbs.</li>\n<li>Availability and flexibility to work all the provided shifts - Monday Evenings, Tuesday Evenings, Wednesday Mornings, Wednesday Evenings, Sunday Mornings.
