The extended day worker ensures a safe, engaging, and structured environment for children outside of regular school hours.</p><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>Student Supervision & Safety</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Active Monitoring:</strong> Maintain continuous, visual supervision of children during indoor activities and outside playground. </li><li><strong>Attendance Tracking:</strong> Conduct accurate roll calls, document daily attendance, and strictly follow authorized sign-out procedures for student pickup.</li><li><strong>Behavior Management:</strong> Implement positive discipline strategies and enforce program rules to maintain a respectful, orderly environment. </li><li><strong>Incident Reporting:</strong> Administer basic first aid for minor injuries and complete detailed incident or accident reports for school administration and parents.</li></ul><p><strong>Activity Coordination & Academic Support</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Homework Assistance:</strong> Guide students through homework assignments, clarify instructions. </li><li><strong>Recreational Planning:</strong> Lead structured group activities, including cooperative games, arts and crafts, and team-building exercises.</li></ul><p><strong>Communication & Operations</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Parent Relations:</strong> Provide brief, professional daily updates to parents regarding their child’s behavior, achievements, or concerns during pickup. </li><li><strong>Team Collaboration:</strong> Coordinate with school staff to ensure continuity of care and share student insights.</li><li><strong>Site Maintenance:</strong> Set up activity stations, distribute healthy snacks, and clean up area at the end of the day</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications & Skills</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> High School Diploma.
