    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Nursing Undergraduate Adjunct Clinical Instructor</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide clinical instruction for the undergraduate nursing program in the clinical and/or skills lab setting.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Specialty areas: Fundamentals, Pediatrics, Parent-Child, Medical-Surgical, Psychiatric, and Community Health.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Current openings in all programs: Traditional Day and Evening, Accelerated Day and Weekend</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in specialty area required.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Recent hospital experience required for Medical-Surgical courses.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated current clinical competence&nbsp;(certification) in the specialty area; clinical practice within the previous five years preferred.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.&nbsp;</li></ul><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required (those currently enrolled in an MSN program may be considered)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Current, unencumbered New York State RN license required; New Jersey State RN license preferred but not required.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Dominican University New York</strong>, located in Orangeburg, New York, is 17 miles north of New York City and serves approximately 1,400 students with a faculty and staff of 400.
