The Distillery's rich tradition dates back to 1773 and includes such legends as E.H. Taylor, Jr., George T. Stagg, Albert B. Blanton, Orville Schupp, and Elmer T. Lee. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Buffalo Trace Distillery is a fully operational Distillery producing bourbon, rye and vodka on site and is a National Historic Landmark as well as is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Distillery has won 17 distillery titles since 2000 from such notable publications as <em>Whisky Magazine, Whisky Advocate Magazine</em> and <em>Wine Enthusiast Magazine</em>. The distillery is part of the Sazerac family of companies.</p>\n<h2>Job Description/Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Buffalo Trace Distillery is seeking applicants for Controls Technician to join our team in Frankfort, KY, this is a night shift position, with a starting salary of $37.06 per hour. Night shift is 6pm-6am on a rotating 2,2,3 schedule.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Primary responsibilities include (however may not be limited to):</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Skilled performance of all plant electrical duties including PLC & MCC installation and maintenance</li>\n <li>Ensure PLCs, robots, and any additional automation is functioning as expected</li>\n <li>Read electrical schematics</li>\n <li>Possess ability to install, trouble-shoot and maintain conduit wire, motors and electrical equipment on 240-volt, 3 phase and 440-volt systems</li>\n <li>Ability to install variable speed drives and troubleshoot electronic control systems including electric eyes and relays</li>\n <li>Ability to program A.B. programmable logic controls.</li>\n <li>Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, adjust, clean and maintain machinery, equipment, fixtures, piping and plumbing systems, etc. </li>\n <li>Read blueprints, manuals, drawings, computer screens, sketches and/or oral instructions</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications/Requirements</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in industrial automation</li>\n <li>A record of successful maintenance experience with a mastery of skills needed to perform everyday maintenance tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing facility</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience with electrical, PLC programming and hardware, and equipment troubleshooting</li>\n <li>Ability/Willingness to work second or third shift</li>\n <li>Successful candidates will be required to receive acceptable scores on several tests including mechanical and electrical aptitude exams, pre-employment physical, and drug/alcohol screening</li>\n <li>Must demonstrate a high level of initiative and problem solving abilities</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented and demonstrated ability to perform work with high degree of accuracy</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and ladder logic</li>\n <li>Ability to operate industrial equipment.</li>\n <li>Good communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Excellent safety and attendance records</li>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associates Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance or Journeyman Electrician</li>\n <li>Manufacturing systems experience</li>\n <li>Rockwell Automation Controls training</li>\n <li>Allen Bradley PLC programming experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-JC1</p>\n<h2>Culture and Benefits</h2>\n<p>Sazerac offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off, and more.
