Responsibilities include coordinating resources, streamlining processes, and supporting the teams to achieve operational efficiency and effectiveness.  Working closely with the Supply Chain AVP, the Operations Coordinator will support the development and execution of departmental initiatives and goals.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><b>Education:</b> </p>\n<p>Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.</p>\n<p>Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><b>Experience:</b> </p>\n<p>Two (2) years' of supply chain management related experience is required.</p>\n<p>Prior healthcare SCM experience is preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><b>Certification/Licensure:</b> </p>\n<p>None required</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to include strong customer service skills and excellent email etiquette to support internal and external customers</li>\n <li>Demonstrated critical thinker and problem solver</li>\n <li>Ability to operate in high-pressure situations</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational skills</li>\n <li>Demonstrated innovative approach to problem resolution</li>\n <li>Ability to work collaboratively across VHC Health entities and disciplines</li>\n <li>Demonstrated commitment to patient and family centered care</li>\n <li>Effective analytical ability to develop and analyze options, recommend solutions to and assist leadership in solving problems and issues</li>\n <li>Ability to function independently and deal with competing priorities</li>\n <li>Ability to recognize personal strengths and weaknesses and develop goals for professional growth and achievement</li>\n <li>Ability to demonstrate a commitment to quality and excellence</li>\n <li>Exhibits confidence, appropriate risk taking and achievement of high standards</li>\n <li>Positive, can-do attitude coupled with a sense of urgency</li>\n <li>Good judgment and ability to act decisively at the right time</li>\n <li>Effective communication skills both in written and verbal</li>\n <li>Ability to work as a part of a team</li>\n <li>Ability to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction including employees, patients, visitors, faculty, referring physicians, and external stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Job Description</h2>\n<p><strong>Pay & Benefits: </strong>Commensurate with experience.
