The role requires strong technical expertise, coordination skills, and the ability to manage subcontractors and consultants effectively. The role will involve travel across our sites and to our head office in Uxbridge.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Project Planning &amp; Coordination</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Review and validate MEP designs for compliance with relevant regulations, codes, standards, and project specifications, including warranty providers requirements</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Ensure that designs are not over engineered.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Develop Testing and Commissioning programmes a minimum of 6 months prior to PC.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Manage and monitor the Testing and Commissioning process with the London Square site teams, Consultants, Contractors and other Stakeholders.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Ensure that any design allows for any planned phased testing and commissioning to allow phased occupation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Assist the London Square Commercial Team during the tendering process, recommending Contractors and procurement strategies</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Execution &amp; Quality Control</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Supervise installation of all MEP systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Undertake factory visits as required and produce reports</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Conduct regular site inspections for progress and quality</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Resolve technical issues and provide solutions to maintain project progress.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Chair regular progress and coordination meetings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Manage and review MEP ITP’s.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Develop Field View (or similar) benchmark forms to ensure LSQ QA processes are followed ensuring that Golden Thread requirements are met</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Subcontractor Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Evaluate and select MEP subcontractors and suppliers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Assist in the development and review MEP RAMS as required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Ensure all LSQ H&amp;S, Quality and site requirements are met and followed at all times</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Budget &amp; Cost Control</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Investigate and recommend heating and cooling strategies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Investigate and recommend value engineering options.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Compliance &amp; Documentation</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Maintain accurate documentation of MEP drawings, change orders, and inspection reports.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Assist with Gateway 2 and Gateway 3 applications.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Skills &amp; Experience:</span> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The ability to multi task effectively, as you will be across multiple projects from acquisition to hand over.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Experience in MEP management within residential construction.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Strong knowledge of MEP systems and current and emerging regulations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The ability to self motivate and to work as part of a team</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">PMP or equivalent project management certification.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What’s in it for you?</span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"> <br>Ensuring you have a work-life balance and stay healthy and happy is important to London Square.
