This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with seniors and can provide safe, friendly, and professional service during outings and appointments.</p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p><ul><li>Approximately 3–4 shifts per month</li><li>Must have some weekday availability (occasional flexibility required)</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Safely transport residents to and from scheduled outings, appointments, and community events</li><li>Operate vehicle lift equipment for scooters and wheelchairs</li><li>Assist residents with boarding and exiting the bus in a safe and respectful manner</li><li>Ensure all passengers are properly secured before transit</li><li>Perform basic vehicle checks before and after use</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle</li><li>Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws</li><li>Communicate effectively with staff and residents</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications & Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid Class 4 Driver’s License (Restricted or Unrestricted – both accepted)</li><li>Experience operating wheelchair/scooter lifts (or willingness to learn)</li><li>Comfortable assisting seniors with mobility needs</li><li>Clean driving record</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and patient demeanor</li><li><strong>Vulnerable Sector Check required</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Assets (Not Required):</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience working with seniors</li><li>First Aid/CPR certification</li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Flexible, part-time schedule</li><li>Supportive team environment</li><li>Meaningful work making a difference in residents’ lives</li></ul><p><strong>How to Apply:</strong><br>Please submit your resume and availability.
