Competitive salaries and benefits packages are available as well as the opportunity to enhance learning and development for future growth.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Job</span><br>Ardmac are recruiting for a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Senior Quantity Surveyor</span> to manage the commercial and surveying aspects of a major high value industrial project located in Somerset.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>In this role, you will be working on the following tasks:</p>\n<p>•    Overall financial, contractual and legal contract of the project.<br>•    Working on basis of strong knowledge and understanding of our obligations under the Contract. <br>•    Preparation of contract budget <br>•    Administration of Contract Records. <br>•    Attendance at meetings such as contract handover meeting<br>•    Produce regular cost reports <br>•    Measurement and valuation. <br>•    Production of Loss and Expense claims with Surveying Manager / Commercial Director. <br>•    Production and agreement of Final Accounts. <br>•    Form Relationship with PQS/Client/consultants/Supply Chain. <br>•    Development and mentoring of commercial staff within the project team</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Candidate Skills and Experience</span><br>If you have the following skills and experience, you may be interested in applying for the position....</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<p>•    BSc in Quantity Surveying</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Ability and knowledge of:</p>\n<p>•    Knowledge of construction methods and technology<br>•    Knowledge &amp; understanding of measurement, valuation, claims, loss &amp; expense<br>•    Knowledge &amp; understanding of Final Accounts<br>•    Knowledge &amp; understanding of subcontract/materials orders &amp; buying</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we offer</span><br>There are many benefits to working with Ardmac.
