    "description": "<h2>The Opportunity</h2>\n<p><strong>RS&H is currently seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our team in either our St. Charles or Chicago, IL office.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>We are looking for someone with the following experience: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Watershed delineation and determination of hydrological parameters</li>\n <li>Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling</li>\n <li>Stormwater drainage analysis and design</li>\n <li>Experience using ICPR, SWMMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HY-8, SRH-2D, and ArcGIS products</li>\n <li>Plan production utilizing OpenRoads Designer, SUDA, and/or Civil 3D</li>\n <li>Prior experience with IDOT projects</li>\n <li>Preparation of Contract Plans, Specifications, Estimates, and Permit Applications</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>To be successful in this role, you must:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program and minimum seven years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. </li>\n <li>Be a licensed Professional Engineer.</li>\n <li>Possess additional certifications like a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) or have completed advanced training in SRH-2D</li>\n <li>Be knowledgeable of applicable federal, state and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.</li>\n <li>Be proficient in production software, construction document production, and the preparation of engineering reports.</li>\n <li>Have experience working on parts of major projects or multiple moderate-size projects and providing technical guidance to junior-level staff, including reviewing others' work for technical accuracy.</li>\n <li>Possess strong oral and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, team members, and other key stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If this sounds like the role for you and you're ready to join an amazing team, please apply.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Hiring Salary Range:</strong> <em>($106,960 - $171,181)</em> — for this <em>location</em>.
