          "text": "<p>DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is looking for a motivated and skilled Hi-Rail Technician with a positive attitude, strong ethics, mechanical expertise, and a strong focus on safety. This position involves spraying herbicide across various railroads and managing the maintenance and operation of trucks and equipment.</p><p><strong>Major Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Supervise and manage all jobs/contracts assigned.</li><li>Apply herbicides for weed, grass, and brush control across different railroad locations.</li><li>Handle daily routing and scheduling tasks.</li><li>Perform daily tank mixing of chemicals.</li><li>Conduct truck inspections and manage the maintenance and repairs of the truck and spray system.</li><li>Calibrate all spray equipment.</li><li>Ensure all work is carried out in adherence to strict safety protocols.</li><li>Maintain daily and weekly records.</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact with customers.</li><li>Address customer and public complaints professionally.</li><li>Report any potential liabilities immediately.</li><li>Possess a thorough understanding of various weed, grass, and brush species.</li><li>Have in-depth knowledge of the chemicals used, including what they control and their safety requirements.</li><li>Fully understand application methods, equipment, calibration, and spray patterns.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>EDUCATION:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent is required.</li></ul><p><strong>EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be 21+ years of age.&#xa0;</li><li>A valid state drivers license with at least 5 years of clean driving history.</li><li>Commercial drivers license preferred.</li><li><strong>Willingness to travel away from home for up to 4-6 weeks at a time</strong> (hotel expenses covered by DCS).</li><li>Must pass a pre-employment drug test, DOT physical, and background check to work on railroad property.</li><li>Commercial Pesticide Applicator License is preferred.</li><li>Standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with shifts typically ranging from 10 to 12 hours.</li><li>Some weekend or night work may be required.</li><li>Occasional travel to offices during breaks for truck/equipment maintenance.</li><li>Work hours may vary based on weather conditions and workload.</li><li>Spraying is a <strong>seasonal </strong>task, aligned with the regional office schedule.</li><li>Must adhere to the company’s drug and alcohol policy.</li></ul><p><strong>TRAINING:</strong> DeAngelo Contracting Services offers paid training to help employees succeed in their roles.
