Description

Overview Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene's section of Emergency Medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide diagnostic evaluation and management of acute medical complaints for children and adults, presenting to the Emergency Department. On our Keene campus, our team delivers an impressive range of clinical services that reflect the needs of the individuals and communities we serve. Our clinical practice is distinguished by an exceptional staff, a deep commitment to safety and quality, and a culture that values the contribution of every staff member and volunteer. In addition, we perform extensive, innovative outreach efforts focused on removing barriers to good health throughout the region. Our membership in the Dartmouth Health system also enables us to provide access to hundreds of highly trained specialists and a depth of clinical and technical resources that enhance our capacity to serve our neighbors and strengthen our daily pursuit of excellence. Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat pediatric and adult patients presenting with acute medical conditions in the Emergency Department. Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic testing, and develop treatment plans. Prescribe medications and perform procedures within scope of practice. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and consulting services to deliver high-quality patient care. Coordinate patient disposition, including discharge, admission, and transfer planning.
