Works closely with project team internally and externally to deliver projects.</p><p>Requirements</p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p>Technical</p><p>Under close supervision, performs a variety of engineering tasks, including:</p><ul><li>Assists in collecting data and gathers information or documents for project with guidance.</li><li>Performs standard computations or analysis.</li><li>Assist in preparing drawings and visual aids with guidance.</li><li>Assist in construction activities with guidance.</li></ul><p>Project Management</p><ul><li>Review individual weekly project staffing report.</li><li>Understand the tasks and roles assigned to you on a project.</li><li>Communicate with the internal Project Team and/or escalate concerns to Senior Leaders.</li><li>Manage your personal time to deliver on all project tasks assigned and communicating to respective Project Managers when there are conflicts or competing schedule demands.</li><li>Gain understanding of QA/QC protocol for all tasks for which you are responsible.</li><li>Gain understanding of client service expectation.</li><li>Gain understanding of key financial performance indicators for successful project completion, including on-time and on-budget objectives.</li><li>Attend meeting with Senior Engineer to discuss active projects.</li></ul><p>Other duties and responsibilities</p><ul><li>Provide feedback to operational procedures to improve efficiency</li><li>Gain understanding of organizational risk associated with technical design items.</li><li>Develop Engineering and Drawing standard SOP with guidance.</li><li>Participate in hiring interview as needed and assist with training new hires.</li><li>Participate in the performance review/feedback process.</li><li>Observe presentations internally and externally.</li><li>Gain understanding of meaningful strategic relationships.</li><li>Understand how role fits into the larger strategic plan of the organization.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)</p><p>B.S. and/or M.S. Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering and/or Masters’ degree in Structural Engineering or 5 years of related experience.</p><ul><li>0+ years working in the field of structural engineering.</li><li>Passed or expected to pass the F.E. exam or EIT license pending</li><li>LEED AP encouraged</li><li>Ability to lead by example.</li><li>Embraces life-long learning, staying current with industry trends.</li><li>Possesses basic oral and written communication skills.
