Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled NETA-Certified Technician with a strong background in testing, maintaining, and commissioning low and medium voltage electrical power systems. What You'll Do: Interpret and analyze electrical one-line diagrams Perform testing, maintenance, startup, and commissioning of electrical power distribution systems Inspect, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the following equipment: Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) Power Cables (Tan Delta and VLF Testing) Battery Backup Systems Circuit Breakers (Primary & Secondary Injection Testing) Current and Potential Transformers Grounding Systems (Point-to-Point Testing) Protective Relays Switchgear and Panelboards Power Transformers What You'll Need for Success: Certified Journeyman Electrician with IBEW Local Affiliation NETA Level II, III, or IV Certification Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience testing and evaluating low and medium voltage electrical power systems Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interaction with clients and internal teams Willingness to travel overnight up to 10% Required Training & Knowledge: Certified NETA Level II or higher In-depth knowledge of NETA Acceptance and Maintenance Testing Specifications Familiarity with NFPA70B and industry electrical codes and standards OSHA Electrical Safety and NFPA70E Safety Training Up-to-date knowledge of NEC, NFPA-70E, IEEE/ANSI standards, and electrical classifications Electrical Energy Experts specializes in electrical testing and maintenance services for low, medium, and high voltage systems.
