With us, anticipate engaging and challenging projects that deliver innovative solutions and value-added technologies helping power more than 38 million North American homes.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are looking for a structural engineer experienced in performing pipe stress analysis using a number of different piping analysis software codes including AutoPipe. Analyses include performing pipe stress analysis of systems in accordance with ASME B31.1, B31.3, as well as ASME Class 1, 2 and 3 systems. Stress analysis includes the verifying piping flexibility, stability, and qualification of equipment nozzle loads. Work with and analyze pipe supports and Layout personnel as required. Additional duties may include analysis of various structures and concrete anchors for seismic concerns.</p>\n<h2>What You’ll Do Day-To-Day</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs non-standard engineering, varied engineering, and new-to-you assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks and resolution of field problems and resolution of quality events.   </li>\n <li>Receives minimal assistance and instruction and works autonomously on most assignments and solutions.   </li>\n <li>Ensures compliance with government regulations, organization, industry and customer engineering standards.   </li>\n <li>Independently evaluates, selects and applies a variety of technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making adaptations and modifications for tasks not previously performed.   </li>\n <li>Continues to develop knowledge of organization, processes and customers.   </li>\n <li>Works on special projects, as directed.   </li>\n <li>Provides suggestions for improving processes and implementing process improvements.  </li>\n <li>Maintain a safety mindset.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering\n  <ul>\n   <li>Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted. </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years of related experience.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.  </li>\n <li>Good communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data. </li>\n <li>Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment. </li>\n <li>Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.  </li>\n <li>Displays informal leadership characteristics.   </li>\n <li>Exhibits questioning attitude and practices self-checking.  </li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency with specialized software tools and programming languages as required by the role.</li>\n <li>Functional knowledge of ASME B31.1, B31.3, as well as ASME Class 1, 2 and 3 systems.</li>\n <li>Experience with piping analysis software codes including AutoPipe.</li>\n <li>Capability to perform stress analysis including but not limited to,  the verifying piping flexibility, stability, and qualification of equipment nozzle loads </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Total Rewards Package</h2>\n<p><strong>Total Rewards Package          </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Salary:</strong> $100,000 - $110,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline.
