We help patients during some of the most vulnerable, painful moments of their lives – and every team member plays a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care every step of the way.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why Join Us:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Start Strong:</strong> Extensive orientation program to ensure a smooth transition into our setting.</li>\n <li><strong>Opportunity for Advancement: </strong>Demonstrate your skills and dedication which could lead to potential full-time opportunities</li>\n <li><strong>Foster Well-being: </strong>We offer benefits which support the financial, work/life and emotional well-being of you and your family members.  <strong>Part time/Per Diem</strong> positions are eligible for 401k based on reaching 1,000 hours within their first anniversary or subsequent calendar year. </li>\n <li><strong>Your Impact Matters:</strong> Join a team of over 44,000 committed to providing exceptional patient care</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Radiologic Technologist is responsible for preparing the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process of the scans to the patient and properly positioning the patient to capture the appropriate images.</li>\n <li>The Technologist correctly operates equipment in order to produce cross-sectional images of patient's bones, organs and tissue.</li>\n <li>Understands and completes necessary requisitions for ordered exams in a timely manner and schedules all exams accurately.</li>\n <li>Performs diagnostic Radiographic/Fluoroscopic/CT exams on patients both in the department and with portable equipment.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates the ability to inject IV contrast media, as needed.</li>\n <li>Performs a variety of examinations, reconstructions and various printing protocols.</li>\n <li>Identifies various types of mechanical and electronic equipment failures in order to accurately diagnose general problems with radiographic machines and processors.</li>\n <li>Explains the procedure to the patient and answers any questions related to the equipment or the procedure.</li>\n <li>Properly moves and transports patients to and from department, as required.</li>\n <li>Orders necessary supplies and maintains par levels.</li>\n <li>Attends required in-services and orientations.</li>\n <li>Works closely with floor staff and builds positive relationships in order to facilitate excellent patient care.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Minimum Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>At least two (2) years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license (as required).</li>\n <li>Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.</li>\n <li>Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.</li>\n <li>Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience operating facility-specific equipment desirable.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Data</h2>\n<p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans</em></p>",
