    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>We are searching for a Facilities Project Manager I -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will assist departments in developing estimates and budgets for proposed facility upgrades, changes, reconfigurations and renovations and to plan and manage the outcomes of operationally funded requests for Texas Children's.</p>\n<p>Think you’ve got what it takes?</p>\n<p><strong>Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong><br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Leads project management process through pre-design, funding, design, pricing/purchasing, construction, occupancy, and closeout steps.&nbsp;<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develops project scope based on customer needs consistent with the standards and objectives.<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develops project budget utilizing departmental tools to assist customers in identifying and obtaining funding.&nbsp;<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Procures external resources to assist with project scope design.&nbsp;<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Manages internal and external resources to assist in planning, designing, and documenting project design by customer needs, facility standards, and regulatory requirements.<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Manages internal and external relationships through effective communication.&nbsp;<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Listens, understands and clarifies the needs of customers. Identifies tools (email, meeting minutes, schedules, etc.) and regularity for effective ongoing communication.<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Leads and participates in a collaborative team environment to achieve the best possible outcomes. Assembles appropriate internal and external resources to best address situations and challenges at hand. Utilizes expertise of resources to define and resolve issues.<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrates a high-quality work ethic by exhibiting a professional attitude, honesty, and integrity. Proactively identifies issues and takes appropriate action to achieve resolution.</p>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Requirements</strong><br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Required bachelor's degree.&nbsp;<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Preferred bachelor's degree in design, architecture, construction, or project management<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Required 1 years of experience coordinating projects in the design and/or construction industries.<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Preferred project experience in healthcare</p>\n<p><strong>**Previous experience with Microsoft Projects and/or AutoCAD software applications highly desired as well.</strong></p>\n<p><br>\n &nbsp;</p>",
