Advise 2<sup>nd</sup> shift supervisors of any expected pending carrier pickups. Notify immediate supervisor of any at-risk orders.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul style=\"padding: 0px 40px;\"><li>Review of orders prior to shipping for any special instructions related to labeling of product, certificates of conformance or special packaging requirements.</li><li>Prepare products for shipment, including but not limited to, selection of containers, labels and boxes to ensure all items are packaged to prevent any damage in transit.</li><li>Review the daily shipping queue regularly throughout the day to ensure on time processing of all customer shipments.</li><li>Shrink wrap, strap, label and prepare pallets for pickup.</li><li>Identify and communicate proactively when orders may be at-risk of not being shipped out on time.</li><li>Deliver urgent shipments that missed carrier pickup deadlines to local shipping hubs as needed.</li><li>Assist others within the departments as necessary.</li><li>Other tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Required Skills</u></strong></p><ul style=\"padding: 0px 40px;\"><li>Great verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to package sensitive parts in a safe manner.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work well in a fast-paced, time sensitive, high volume shipping environment.</li><li>Proven multitasking skills with a team player attitude.</li><li>Strong time management and clerical skills.</li><li>Ability to compare, compute, compile and analyze documentation and requirements.</li><li>Desire for continuous improvement and growth.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Preferred Skills</u></strong></p><ul style=\"padding: 0px 40px;\"><li>Shipping experience in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Microsoft office - Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Word.</li><li>Additional related training and education preferred.</li><li>Computer skills with working knowledge of shipping programs including UPS, FedEx, DHL and MRP/ERP software systems.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Experience Requirements</u></strong></p><ul style=\"padding: 0px 40px;\"><li>1 year of shipping experience in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Valid driver&#39;s license and insurance.</li><li>Acceptable driving record.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Education Requirements</u></strong></p><p>High School diploma, GED or five (3) years&rsquo; work experience.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p><ul style=\"padding: 0px 40px;\"><li>Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.</li><li>Able to spend the day standing, bending, walking, lifting, etc.</li><li>Requires using hands to lift boxes, handle tools or controls.&ensp;&ensp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p>All offers of employment at Fralock are contingent upon clear results of a background check.
