Not only is that great for business (as seen in our global growth and success) it’s also great for employees.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>EFM IT has an opportunity for an <strong>Engineer 2, Software (.NET)</strong> that is responsible for designing and developing prototypes as well as performing complicated application coding and programming. This position interprets end-user business requirements to develop and/or modify technical design specifications for off-the-shelf and/or custom-developed applications. <strong>The Engineer 2</strong> position analyzes and reviews software requirements to determine feasibility of a design within time and cost restraints. In addition, this position performs unit and integration testing and assists with developing unit test scripts. This individual may provide instruction, guidance and mentoring to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge in object-oriented application development principles, theories, and concepts </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences and across levels in the organization; able to leverage multiple modes of communication </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Build strong relationships and collaborate within the team, as well as teams across the organization </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong customer service skills with emphasis on understanding customer needs, prioritizing work appropriately and leveraging internal and external business partners to enable quality solutions  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to stay current on technological trends and how they impact one’s function; drives solutions by proposing, initiating, or explaining technical ideas to solve major problems </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to embrace change; Flexible and agile in work and problem-solving approach </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent problem solving which includes the ability to define the problem, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions, and set priorities </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office desktop applications software </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans</em></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future</li>\n <li>Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or immediate surrounding area</li>\n <li>Must have 3+ years of enterprise applications development experience  </li>\n <li>Experience with the following technologies: C#, LINQ, Entity Framework, ADO.Net, ASP.Net, SPA, JSON, IIS, SQL Server, SSIS, VB Script, OOD/OOP </li>\n <li>Experience with front end design and development with languages such as JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS and HTML </li>\n <li>Experience with unit testing and building scripts </li>\n <li>Experience with relational database platforms </li>\n <li>Experience with the use of version control systems for code management </li>\n <li>Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred </li>\n <li>Knowledge of the following technologies: MS Access, VBA, Excel, Cloud (AWS/Azure), MSTest, Jasmine, Karma, PowerShell, Python, REACT, Typescript, Vitest, and Co-Pilot </li>\n <li>Experience with an Agile/Kanban/Scrum development process is a plus but not required. </li>\n <li>Understanding of SOA is preferred </li>\n <li>Experience with the Atlassian Toolset</li>\n</ul>",
