Success in this role will require fluency in SaaS-based application development, test automation, attention to detail, analytical skills, understanding of business processes, and unwavering dedication to software quality. </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do: As a Software Engineer</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of releasable, high-quality software by working across the full stack and contributing to new and existing features</li>\n <li>Author code aligned with internal standards and guidance from architects to ensure maintainability and consistency across our products</li>\n <li>Develop, maintain, and update automated test systems as functionality changes during the evolution of our products</li>\n <li>Assess the impact of changes by actively engaging in code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions with our engineering and product teams</li>\n <li>Monitor application performance in production and non-production environments</li>\n <li>Debug and resolve application errors and performance issues </li>\n <li>Continuously learn about new tools and technologies</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>We’re Excited to Learn More About You </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>We’re looking for someone who: </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work from an Applied Systems office on an ad hoc basis, with remote workdays for deep work.     </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> Your experience should include some or all of the following:</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>A</strong><strong>ssociate Software Engineer:</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>1-3 years' experience in software engineering with Microsoft stack experience: <strong>C#, ASP.NET, .NET, SQL</strong></li>\n <li>Knowledge of professional software engineering practices including software development life cycles, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations</li>\n <li>Practical experience with technologies and systems such as HTTP, REST APIs, Distributed Systems, Services, Messaging, Queues, Caching, SQL / NoSQL databases, Angular web applications, and JavaScript</li>\n <li>Practical experience with logging, performance metrics, debugging, optimization, and defect resolution, as well as testing and security </li>\n <li><strong>Experience with Angular1.x and 2.x with focus on Angular v17+</strong></li>\n <li>Experience with cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure) and open-source tools</li>\n <li>Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> Software Engineer position requires: </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3+ years of experience in software engineering, including experience providing guidance and support to members of the team</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience working across software development languages, frameworks, and technologies described above</li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of experience with modern test strategies and quality gating policies within CI/CT/CD pipelines</li>\n <li>Advanced communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts to support others with complex problem-solving</li>\n <li>Proven ability to advance technical discussions, debates, and reviews while contributing to positive and constructive communication across the team</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We know that talent comes from all backgrounds and experience levels. To determine a new team member’s starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone’s depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities.
