Currently, we operate on a 2-2-3, 12-hour schedule that will support 24/7 coverage. &nbsp;If you&#39;re looking for a stable, forward-moving company where your skills are valued, we&rsquo;d love to hear from you.</p><p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p><strong>Summary:&nbsp;</strong>The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and adjusting equipment as needed to ensure it operates according to manufacturer&rsquo;s specifications and production requirements.<strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Primary Tasks/Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Services, repairs, adjusts and test various machinery, devices, and equipment related to the manufacturing process.</li><li>Ability to learn production equipment processes and operations to aid in machine troubleshooting and operation support.</li><li>Perform and document preventative maintenance tasks as necessary.</li><li>Timely, effective troubleshooting.</li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of minor electrical repairs and troubleshooting on motors, VFDs, PLCs, high and low voltage applications.</li><li>Safely work inside electrical panels and understand the function of all components inside.</li><li>Read and understand wiring schematics and machine manuals.</li><li>Troubleshoot safety switches and safety circuitry.</li><li>Welding, use of acetylene torch.</li><li>Use of pneumatic controls.</li><li>Perform work on hydraulic equipment.</li><li>Perform regular maintenance on gear boxes and conveyors.</li><li>Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.</li><li>Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.</li><li>Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures.</li><li>Follow all food safety and quality system requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications/Knowledge:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred</li><li>5 years experience as maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment required.</li><li>5+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred; automated equipment experience a plus</li><li>Skilled in installing and maintaining pumps, bearings, pulleys, belts, chains, gearboxes, bushings, etc.</li><li>Proficient with automation, production, and computer systems</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Clear communicator with technicians, operators, managers, and plant leadership</li><li>Able to work independently or in teams; communicates effectively via radio, phone, and in person</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Other Skills and relevant considerations:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.</li><li>Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.</li><li>Must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.</li><li>Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.</li><li>Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to work independently and/or on a team in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Must be able to work in a wet and/or humid environment. &nbsp;Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals will occur. &nbsp;Exposure to nut allergens.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements / Other Pertinent Job Information:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>May work 12-hour shifts on a fixed schedule rotation, including holidays</li><li>Must lift up to 50 lbs.; requires walking, bending, squatting, and climbing ladders/stairs</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
