The Monarch Casino Resort Spa is looking for a passionate Banquet Manager to join our team!  You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that exceeds the expectations of our guests and Team Members.  </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The chef-driven menu at <em>Monarch Chophouse</em> features the finest steaks, seafood, and craft cocktails in four-star luxury. Indulge any time of the day at <em>Twenty-Four 7</em> serving American and Asian fare. Light up your senses with exquisite flavors and cuisine from all corners of the globe at <em>The Buffet.</em> All new Bistro restaurant. Unwind from a long day in one of our multiple bars and lounges, with live music at our Cabaret bar every Monday and Tuesday. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepares dining room for guests by cleaning and clothing tables; setting decorations, condiments, napkins, service plates, and utensils.</li>\n <li>Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.</li>\n <li>Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs.</li>\n <li>Supports wait staff by setting-up and replenishing condiment stands, trash containers liners, and bus stations.</li>\n <li>Supports staff by serving as a back-up – seating guest, operating registers and answering phones</li>\n <li>Closes dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables; sweeping and/or vacuuming floors; removing trash and recyclables from the facility.</li>\n <li>Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.</li>\n <li>Informs management of guests concerns at all times.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work in high volume, sometimes loud, ever changing environment</li>\n <li>Must possess excellent guest service and communication skills with the ability to deal with guests.</li>\n <li>Excellent listening skills, presentation skills, and people skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to speak and write English.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate information through spoken words and sentences that others will understand</li>\n <li>Ability to read and understand information and instructions presented in writing.</li>\n <li>Must be able to stand for duration of shift.</li>\n <li>Must be able to bend, stoop and continuously use hands.</li>\n <li>Ability to push and pull up to 25lbs pounds and occasionally up to 45lbs</li>\n <li>Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays when needed.</li>\n <li>Successfully submit a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.</li>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Not only does Monarch offer a luxury experience for guests we offer luxury benefits to our Team Members as well!</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Full Time Team Members (30+ hours) will enjoy the following benefits and perks:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Paid Time Off.</li>\n <li>6 Observed Holidays and Holiday Pay.</li>\n <li>Health Benefit Insurance Package after 90 days includes: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short term disability, 401k with company match.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Part Time and Full Time Team Members (TMs) will enjoy the following benefits and perks:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>1 Free Hot Meal per shift and Unlimited Beverages.</li>\n <li>Up to 48 hours of Sick Pay for Team Members Under 30 hrs per Week.</li>\n <li>80% Subsidized Bus Transportation Options.</li>\n <li>Free Covered Parking.</li>\n <li>Education/Tuition/Certification Reimbursement (up to $6,000 per calendar year).</li>\n <li>Wardrobe/Uniforms and Dry Cleaning Provided Free of Charge for most positions.</li>\n <li>Career Development and Advancement Programs.</li>\n <li>Team Member Anniversary Recognition (earn resort credit, vacation trips and more!).</li>\n <li>Team Member Hotel, Retail and Spa Discounts.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Save your gas and mileage on your car!
