Our team is a tight-knit group of creative problem solvers who are smart, kind, and committed to helping each other grow.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Where you come in</span></p>\n<p>We're looking for an experienced Mobile Engineer at Chowdeck who'll be responsible for building the mobile interfaces through which customers interact with our products. We have three mobile apps: the customer app, where people order food; our vendors' app, used by restaurants; and the Rider's app, used by delivery drivers. We use React Native and JavaScript but also leverage native APIs for deep integrations.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We're looking for curious, empathetic, and kind people who want to continue their careers at a fast-growing tech startup that cares deeply about personal and professional development.<br><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">In this role you'll be required to:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build and maintain features on one or more of our three mobile apps for customers, vendors and riders</li>\n<li>Build app and UI components from prototypes and wireframes</li>\n<li>Build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across both major mobile platforms, iOS and Android.</li>\n<li>Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms when necessary</li>\n<li>Continuously Improve front-end performance by eliminating performance bottlenecks.</li>\n<li>Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks so our apps feel as native as possible.</li>\n<li>Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure our products are of the highest quality.</li>\n<li>Work with engineers across the company to build and maintain new features at large-scale.</li>\n<li>Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">You’re perfect for the Senior Mobile Engineer role if you:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>are motivated by the opportunity to improve the lives of our restaurants, riders and customers.</li>\n<li>have significant professional experience building large, production-grade mobile apps and experience as a team or technical lead is a plus.</li>\n<li>have a firm handle on JavaScript, React Native and its many nuances</li>\n<li>are familiar with native build tools such as XCode and Gradle as well as Fastlane for automated CI/CD</li>\n<li>have fundamental knowledge of Node, JavaScript, and MySQL</li>\n<li>have experience building delight into products using animations where necessary</li>\n<li>have experience using and implementing automated testing suites for mobile</li>\n<li>can write code that meets our standards for style, maintainability, testability and best practices for a high-scale web environment.</li>\n<li>can think through product requirements to come up with ways of quickly solving problems without compromising quality</li>\n<li>care deeply about speed, performance, and quality application design</li>\n<li>can communicate what you're working on to both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li>\n<li>have a deep and unrelenting focus on customer satisfaction and experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Beyond the paycheck, Chowdeck employees get:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full medical coverage</li>\n<li>Smart, kind colleagues invested in your growth<br></li>\n<li>Housing Assistance</li>\n<li>Transport Assistance</li>\n<li>Lunch allowance<em><br></em></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
