    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>BUILD YOUR FUTURE WHILE YOU HELP BUILD A BETTER WORLD!</strong></p><p><strong>Tremco CPG is an aggressive, growth-oriented company with revenues of over $1 billion.&nbsp;We are a world leader in solving complex waterproofing and roofing problems for our commercial, institutional, and industrial customers.&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>If you’re looking for a place to build a career, with great benefits, advancement opportunity, technology, people and a commitment to a sustainable future, you’ve found it with us.</strong></p><p><strong>Tremco CPG is currently searching for a Product Manager with extensive metal roofing experience.</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The Sr. Product Manager plans, organizes, and controls an assigned product or product line(s) from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives by performing the following duties under the direct supervision of the Director of Product Management.&nbsp;</p><p>Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</strong></p><p><i><strong><u>MARKET INTELLIGENCE</u></strong></i></p><p>Responsible for the following:&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Conducting customer interviews and surveys&nbsp;</li><li>Competitive investigations and analysis&nbsp;</li><li>Trade organization participation&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><i><strong><u>LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT</u></strong></i></p><p>Responsible for the following:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Supporting the Sales Team</li><li>Forecasting</li><li>Market analysis&nbsp;</li><li>Warranty extensions</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><i><strong><u>NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT</u></strong></i></p><p>Responsible for the following:</p><ul><li>Creating product charters</li><li>Managing the product development process</li><li>Orchestrating product launches</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><i><strong><u>STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT</u></strong></i></p><p>Will be responsible for the following:</p><ul><li>Product pricing strategies</li><li>Prioritizing new product initiatives</li><li>Will be responsible (with guidance) for product portfolio pricing strategies</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul><li>More than 10 years related experience and/or training</li><li>Extensive metal roofing experience</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to grasp technical details.&nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. CAD and/or SAP experience is a plus.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities, effective team player, self-motivated, quick learner.&nbsp;</li><li>Must have interpersonal versatility, well developed business acumen, and highly developed planning, problem solving, negotiating and decision-making skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, sales and marketing staff, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.</li><li>Exceptional ability to analyze data and discern trends.&nbsp;Ability to think creatively in order to address customer and product issues.</li><li>Ability to write/edit reports, business correspondence and marketing collateral. Ability to present information and effectively respond to managers, customers and sales / marketing staff.&nbsp;</li><li>Does require occasional overnight travel.&nbsp;May also be required to visit Tremco plants and/or customer facilities.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The salary range&nbsp;for applicants in this position generally ranges between $100,000 and $125,000.
