We provide:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive health benefits that start day 1</li>\n <li>Student Loan Repayment Assistance & Reimbursement Programs</li>\n <li>Family-focused benefits</li>\n <li>Wellness incentives</li>\n <li>Ongoing mentorship, development, and leadership programs...and more!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred qualifications: Outpatient experience</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Hours: 32 hours </strong></p>\n<h2>Description</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists in coordinating and managing the daily activities of the discipline specific staff and students to ensure quality delivery of patient care services.</li>\n <li>Participates in direct and consultative patient care.</li>\n <li>Performs routine and specialized procedures relating to therapy techniques.</li>\n <li>Maintains a high level of proficiency in the technical skills required for managing patient care.</li>\n <li>Communicates regularly with members of patient care team, the patient, family members and others involved with the patients care.</li>\n <li>Assists with inventory control and identifies the need for purchasing supplies and equipment to ensure the availability of commonly used materials.</li>\n <li>Identifies department specific needs/equipment for inclusion in budget(s).</li>\n <li>Provides input to departmental short and long term goals and objectives.</li>\n <li>Reviews and revises patient care and treatment procedures and policies on an on-going basis.</li>\n <li>Communicates policies, procedures and related forms in accordance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.</li>\n <li>Assists with staff management and employee performance.</li>\n <li>Interviews applicants and makes recommendations for hiring staff.</li>\n <li>Assists in the maintenance of discipline specific records pertaining to continuing education, personnel, charting, financial operations and quality improvement.</li>\n <li>Serves as a resource to medical staff, students, other allied health professionals and support staff concerning the operations of the specific discipline.</li>\n <li>Assists in interpreting the applicable policies.</li>\n <li>Assists with the coordination of student activities.</li>\n <li>Participates in research activities being conducted within the organization.</li>\n <li>Performs other related duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>A bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited program.</li>\n <li>Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Georgia.</li>\n <li>Must have and maintain NBCOT certification.</li>\n <li>At three years of clinical experience.</li>\n <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: (Medium-Heavy) 36-75 lbs, 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 20-35 lbs, 34-66% of the workday; (frequently); 10-20 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 75 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 35 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking; Occasional sitting; Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing); Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS: Factors affecting environment conditions may vary depending on the assigned work area and tasks.
