    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><strong>SUMMARY</strong></p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced <strong>Design Phase Engineer II</strong> to join our <strong>Energy Storage Group</strong> and provide support to project leadership during the design phase as it relates to customer experience, financial performance, schedule, estimating, design and planning that results in a smooth transition to construction operations Your strong communication skills are critical as you will be interacting with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment. You will work on multiple tasks at a time; therefore, it is important for you to have great organization skills.</span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span><strong>Location:&nbsp; MN, CO, TX</strong></span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Support the project team in achieving scope and budget alignment, schedule alignment, an integrated team experience, construction readiness, and excellent financial performance</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Assist with establishing and managing project budget and scope expectations, budget trending logs, and any associated communications and resources</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Craft and manage project schedules and key achievements, hold team members accountable for reaching set achievements</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Assist in regulatory approval and permitting processes, as well as the preparation of bid packages and contract manuals</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Support bid analysis and subcontractor selection</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Identify technical design and specification concerns, intensify as needed to achieve resolution</span></li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering,&nbsp;or equivalent field</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Minimum of 4 year’s relevant experience</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Display strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Demonstrate detail orientation sufficient to organize and run multiple tasks</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Exhibit a positive professional attitude, and strong customer service skills</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Interpret and communicate Mortenson policies to employees and outside parties effectively</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Display proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Be open to change based on diverse input and feedback</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Effectively work with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Strong cross-cultural relationship building and influencing at all organizational levels</span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Current driver’s license</span></li></ul><p><span><strong>A few benefits offered include: &nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><i><span>(for Non-Craft &amp;
