    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are seeking skilled <strong><em>Fire Alarm Inspectors</em></strong> to join our team. In this role you will need to be familiar with inspecting and testing fire alarm systems. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Inspectors shall perform all inspection and testing on fire alarm systems.</li>\n <li>Inspectors shall be able to complete all reports necessary for fire alarm systems. </li>\n <li>Familiarity with sprinkler system inspections is also desired but not required.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Fire Extinguisher and Kitchen Hood Service Technicians are also desired. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Communicate and effectively interact with other contractors and building owners. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist customers on site with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Effectively communicate project status to management. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Complete all appropriate company paperwork as required. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Industry related NICET and/or state certification is preferred or obtain within one year of hire. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with the following manufacturers: Edwards/EST, Kidde, Notifier, FireLite, Bosch, Silent Knight, DSC, Telguard, and Gamewell/FCI is preferred. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Applicants must meet requirements in relation to background and driving record. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be proficient in the use and application of industry related equipment including MS Office.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have excellent communications skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Regular, reliable, predictable attendance. </li>\n <li>Minimum of OSHA 10 is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong>: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing a ladder, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools as required and lifting to 75lbs. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>HCI Systems Inc. is a licensed C-7, C-10 and C-16 low voltage systems integration contractor offering a full spectrum of services including sales, engineering, installation, service, and maintenance with over 600 employees in our seven branches.
