The main focus of the position is on providing superior outpatient rehabilitation services through a collaborative care model with our physicians in order to optimize performance and enhance the quality of function for our patients.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Exceptional patient care</li><li>Interprets physician orders, performs initial evaluations and establishes treatment plans and functional goals</li><li>Responsible for upgrading and amending the treatment goals as necessary during the episode of care</li><li>Written documentation on patient status to physicians per compliance guidelines of IBJI rehab</li><li>Determine appropriate discharge timeline and appropriate follow up</li><li>Supervision of Rehabilitation Technicians with patient care and administrative staff as needed</li><li>Compliance with daily paperwork. PT/PTAs/ATCs are responsible for documenting all treatment in patient charts in a timely manner (initial evals, daily notes, progress notes, discharges, HEP)</li><li>Stays current with billing policies and demonstrates ethical billing practices</li><li>Maintains active state license by earning appropriate CEUs through outside courses and IBJI sponsored educational opportunities</li><li>Develops positive relationships with the physician teams at IBJI</li><li>Takes an active role in the patient medial team: office visits with physicians, contact with case managers, etc.</li><li>Participates in programs sponsored by IBJI: Mentoring, clinical educator, special interest group, community outreach</li></ul>",
