What You'll Do: The Assistant Campus President reports into the Senior Campus President (SCP). The Assistant Campus President (ACP) oversees the academic operations of their assigned campus, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and the campus leadership team to guide decision-making and actions in alignment with the College's vision, mission, purpose, and values. The ACP is the designated school director for ABHES. Essential Responsibilities: Manage campus operations Provide support to Dean of Nursing and Dean of General Education, optimize academic support resources, and oversee the campus student success. Ensure an environment conducive to learning through effective space planning, security, emergency response, maintenance, and budget management. Partner with SCP and function leaders at the campus to ensure appropriate and effective use of budget to support the campus’s success. Coordinate with marketing for campus announcements. Build a highly effective team Hire, develop, and supervise campus team; focus on creating a student-centric culture through fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Effectively manage personnel, budget, and resources to foster high colleague engagement. Achieve academic result Promote student success and satisfaction by coordinating students’ access to College resources. Partner with the SCP and Executive Director of Enrollment Services in achieving College and campus goals and outcomes. Engage with stakeholders Serve as a representative of the college to community partners. Establish effective communication with all stakeholders including colleagues, students, advisory board members, and campus partners. Regularly interact with all students. Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to accreditation standards Maintain records, including grievances and security reports, for accreditation purposes. Support the completion of required campus plans or documents to meet regulatory requirements (i.e., AHBES requirements). At Arizona College of Nursing, we believe in a collaborative approach where all colleagues work together towards our shared goals. What We Need From You: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must have: Bachelors in leadership, education, healthcare, business, or a related field. Degree must be from an institution accredited by the US Secretary of Education or CHEA. 3-5 years’ demonstrated experience in effective operational leadership. Strong negotiation skills, able to bring others together and negotiate differences. Nice to have: Master’s degree or higher in leadership, education, healthcare, business, or a related field. Degree must be from an institution accredited by the US Secretary of Education or CHEA. Strong negotiation skills, able to bring others together and negotiate differences. Experience in nursing or higher education. Experience with industry technological programs or similar programs (i.e. Nexus, Anthology, Canvas).
