Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Employment Type: Casual
Hourly Rate: CA$39.99 (hourly rate determined by the applicable union collective agreement)
Hardisty Care Centre is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a casual basis. In this role, you will provide person-centred nursing care to residents, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and help promote a safe, respectful, and high-quality care environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who is committed to resident well-being, strong clinical practice, and teamwork in a long-term care setting.
The successful candidate will practice within professional standards, applicable regulations, and organizational policies while supporting a culture of safety, dignity, and continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care, assessments, medication administration, and ongoing monitoring of residents. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Support residents and families through respectful communication, advocacy, and clinical guidance. Promote a safe environment by following infection prevention, health and safety, and organizational policies and procedures. Qualifications Graduate of an approved nursing program with active registration in good standing with the applicable provincial nursing college. Current CPR certification as required by provincial legislation. Recent experience working with seniors or in long-term care is an asset. Strong communication, critical thinking, organization, and teamwork skills. Comfortable using computers and electronic documentation systems. Why Join Us
