The position performs food service tasks under general supervision, ensuring that food handling comply with food safety standards and Department of Health (DOH) regulations.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Deliver and pick up of food and supplies in and out of facility to various sites.</li><li>Perform routine cleaning, fueling, and servicing of assigned vehicle.</li><li>Transport food or supplies to serving areas; ensure that areas are properly set up; assemble and replenish food, supplies, and equipment as required; ensure proper temperature of food in steam tables and correct counter display.</li><li>Ensure that food handling and related activities comply with food safety standards and DOH regulations.</li><li>Clean assigned area following proper sanitary procedures, to include equipment, counters, dining tables, refrigerators, utensils, and dispensers; sweep and mop floors.</li><li>Ensure all supplies, materials and equipment are available in assigned work areas for proper performance of duties; maintain replenishment as necessary; report need to repair equipment, furniture, building, and fixtures to program supervisor.</li><li>Assist in monitoring work and cross-training employees in contract sites and in the use of Cup of Joe and Saint Maria’s Meals materials.</li><li>Assist in receiving/unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.</li><li>Combine pallets and rearrange space to accommodate a steady flow of product.</li><li>Perform inventory replenishment for Cup of Joe and Saint Maria’s Meals programs, as needed.</li><li>Assist volunteers and site managers in picking up Cup of Joe materials.</li><li>Provide support to Cup of Joe and Saint Maria’s Meals Program Supervisor.</li><li>Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to agency standards.</li><li>Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.</li><li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned.</li></ul>",
