Overview Since 1973, Parts Authority has established itself as a premier national distributor specializing in automotive replacement parts, professional tools and equipment, and transmission systems. Our growth strategy combines internal development with strategic acquisitions—we've successfully integrated more than a dozen companies in recent years. With an extensive inventory exceeding 3 million parts that cover over 125 million vehicle applications, we guarantee our customers can access the components they need exactly when they need them. What sets us apart is our people. Parts Authority employs a dedicated team of professionally trained, knowledgeable counter specialists who excel at identifying the precise parts and optimal brands for every application. We stock premium brands for both domestic and foreign vehicles, partnering with over 400 global suppliers including industry leaders such as AC Delco, Motorcraft, Denso, Bosch, KYB, Monroe, Gates, Dorman, and Exide. Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing commercial customers. Generate sales through account development, outbound communication, and ongoing customer engagement. Assist customers with product selection, pricing, availability, and order placement. Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. Address customer questions and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner. Monitor sales activity and identify opportunities to increase account growth and retention. Maintain working knowledge of automotive parts, industry trends, and company product offerings. Collaborate with branch leadership and internal teams to support overall sales objectives. Participate in local business development efforts and customer visits when needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in sales, customer service, or the automotive aftermarket industry preferred. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Basic computer and order-entry proficiency required. Automotive parts knowledge is a plus. Valid driver’s license may be required depending on branch needs. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move automotive parts and materials as needed. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the workday. Ability to operate a vehicle for customer visits or deliveries if required.
