This role focuses on a proactive, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategy to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvement, while also overseeing day-to-day maintenance activities including scheduling, budgeting, safety compliance, and team development.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><em>Team Leadership:</em></p><ul><li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians by providing clear direction, training, and performance feedback.</li><li>Schedule, prioritize, and assign maintenance work orders, delegating tasks effectively to ensure daily operational goals are met.</li><li>Promote a positive and collaborative team culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.</li></ul><p><em>Reliability and Strategy:</em></p><ul><li>Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to increase equipment uptime and reduce unplanned failures.</li><li>Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations for critical or repetitive equipment failures and implement corrective actions.</li><li>Oversee condition-monitoring programs, including vibration analysis, infrared thermography, and oil analysis.</li><li>Track and analyze key maintenance performance indicators (KPIs), such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).</li></ul><p><em>Maintenance Operations:</em></p><ul><li>Coordinate the daily maintenance work schedule and manage emergency repairs with minimal disruption to production.</li><li>Plan and coordinate operations across all shifts.</li><li>Utilize and maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders, track equipment history, and schedule maintenance tasks.</li><li>Assist with diagnosing complex equipment failures and provide hands-on support and technical guidance to the team.</li><li>Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or projects, ensuring quality and cost control.</li><li>Lead machine installations and upgrades, and allocate appropriate resources.</li></ul><p><em>Safety and Compliance:</em></p><ul><li>Ensure the maintenance team strictly adheres to all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and correct safety hazards and potential issues.</li><li>Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, including OSHA and environmental requirements.</li><li>Operate the man lift per procedures and guidelines.</li></ul><p><em>Administrative Duties:</em></p><ul><li>Manage and monitor the maintenance department&#39;s budget, controlling costs for labor, parts, and outside services.</li><li>Manage spare parts inventory to ensure critical components are readily available while optimizing stock levels.</li><li>Prepare and present maintenance and reliability reports for management.</li><li>Participate in the planning and execution of capital projects and equipment upgrades.</li><li>Support and participate in Kaizen activities.</li><li>Function as a member of the First Responder team per the WVSM Manual.</li><li>Promptly report any abnormalities relating to equipment or repair parts to management.</li><li>Travel and/or overtime as required.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by management.</li><li>Adhere to all company policies and procedures, which include IATF, ISO, TISAX, ISMS, and Safety-related policies.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED required.</li><li>Three to five years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with at least one to three years in a supervisory or lead role.</li><li>Experience with automated equipment diagnostics in a high-paced environment.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Proficiency with CMMS software, Microsoft Office Suite, and inventory management.</li><li>Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermal imaging).</li><li>Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, particularly OSHA standards.</li><li>Able to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.</li><li>Excellent organizational, planning, and administrative skills.</li><li>Strong multitasking abilities.</li><li>Highly tactful and diplomatic with the ability to maintain confidentiality.</li><li>Able to adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Capable of coping with stressful situations.</li><li>Effective time management of self and direct reports.</li><li>Able to work both indoors and outdoors.</li><li>Vocational or technical certification or an Associate&#39;s degree preferred.</li><li>AutoCAD experience preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Able to see and hear (correctable).</li><li>Able to communicate verbally.</li><li>Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.</li><li>Able to lift 75 lbs. with assistance.</li><li>Able to withstand long periods of sitting, standing,
