Our mission is to support Alaskans on their journey to recovery.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>About the Team</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">As part of Fairbanks Mobile Crisis Team (MCT), Peer Support Specialists respond as part of a Peer &amp; Clinician team to individuals in crisis across the Fairbanks North-Star Borough community through dispatched 911 events. In collaboration with Law Enforcement and intra-agency dispatch centers, MCT Peer Support Specialists work under the direction of the Clinician and Clinical Team Manager to engage individuals in crisis and post-crisis services to promote strengths-based stabilization through advocacy, resiliency building, coping and regulation skill modeling, and meeting individuals where they are at.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Serve as a role model, sharing lived experiences and offering hope to individuals in crisis.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify strengths and natural supports to promote recovery-focused care.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Document all activities accurately in the Electronic Health Record.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct follow-ups with individuals as recommended by the MCT clinician.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in the 24 hour on-call rotation, with ability for regular assigned days.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Good To Know</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Position is based in Fairbanks, Alaska</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Full-Time, Non-Exempt&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Compensation includes an hourly rate of $25.00 for hours worked, along with $350.00 for each scheduled 24-hour on-call shift.
