    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div>\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/22.11.23/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/22.11.23/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n\n    <div class=\"fr-view\">\n      <div><p>Astec is dedicated to a culture of Behavior Based SAFETY and a Healthy Environment!</p><p>Painter&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Ensure that safe work practices are followed and adhered to.</li><li>Check production schedule or shop request list and plan work tasks.</li><li>Cleans, sands and prepares equipment surfaces for painting.</li><li>Applies primer and finish coats with attention to safety, quality and efficiency.</li><li>Mix and match paint, cleans and maintains spray guns and other painting equipment.</li><li>May work with unpleasant or toxic fumes and materials wearing protective and safety equipment.</li><li>Painter spends a substantial portion of the work time spray painting.</li><li>Wear a mask, fresh air breathing apparatus or other safety equipment as needed, when working with paint products emitting hazardous vapors.</li><li>May occasionally be assigned to other duties for training purposes</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><u>Experience/Knowledge</u></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Minimum 3 years&rsquo; experience heavy equipment or automotive painting required</li><li>Heavy equipment painting preferred.</li><li>High solid single stage painting also preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency with prep work; sanding, masking, spray painting with industrial enamel and multiple color paint scheme.</li><li>May work at heights of up to 30 feet.</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\">&nbsp;SAFETY&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Proficient in promoting safe and healthy work environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain a safe work environment and ensure that all company safety procedures are followed to include OSHA compliance guidelines applicable to the job duties above.</li><li>Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.&nbsp;</li><li>Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.</li><li>Separates scrap or waste materials for recycling, reuse, or environmentally sound disposal.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintains cleanliness in designated workspace by practicing 6S principles to reduce safety risks.</li><li>Reports defective materials, equipment, or questionable conditions to the supervisor/manager to identify and correct the root cause.&nbsp;</li><li>Notifies supervisor of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.</li><li>Attend a weekly department safety meeting.</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>EQUAL OPPORTUNITY STATEMENT</strong></p><p>As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Astec does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, marital status, disability status, national origin or ancestry, veteran status, age, prior industrial injury, sexual orientation, genetic information, or any other protected status under local, state or federal law.</p></div>\n    </div>\n  </div></div></div>\n",
