    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Position Summary</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Thermoid seeks a candidate for Production Supervisor, who will have direct responsibility for planning &amp; organizing production workflows and communicating daily/weekly/monthly objectives and requirements to the manufacturing team and following up on completion. &nbsp;Provide motivation and resources to ensure 95% on-time delivery of products through manufacturing by interfacing &amp; coordinating with sales, purchasing, quality and engineering, all while ensuring safe operation and quality standards.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Principle Duties and Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p><ul class=\"decimal_type\"><li>Follow and enforce safety policies, ensure safety issues are addressed in a timely fashion, provide safety training and champion the safety program for the site</li><li>Partner with purchasing, engineering and quality to schedule production activities to ensure &gt; 95% on-time delivery and warranty rates at &lt; 0.5% cost of sales</li><li>Lead daily production team meetings and maintain departmental day-to-day production activities, monitor production, and prioritize workflow and schedules to maximize capacity plan for work cells</li><li>Manage the hiring, performance management, coaching and training for all direct reports to support employee development, improve cross-training and drive accountability</li><li>Build and maintain routings for products in the ERP system to constantly validate and improve daily shop scheduling practices</li><li>Identify opportunities for improvement related to safety, quality, on time delivery and cost, and develop &amp; implement processes and/or process improvements to address gaps</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Experience and Education&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>At least 3 years of experience with direct responsibility for production in manufacturing</li><li>At least 3 years of experience leading direct reports</li><li>At least 1 year of experience working with an MRP or ERP system</li><li>Demonstrated experience with Continuous Improvement tools &amp; structured Problem-Solving processes preferred</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Technical Skills&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications</li><li>Able to demonstrate leadership and coaching abilities&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>HBD Industries is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
