The Project/Field Engineer will be working on numerous large construction projects with the client. Additional Requirements Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen. Responsibilities Understand all aspects of the Contract. Review contract budget, monitor costs and prepare reports as required. Review, track, process and distribute submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Change (RFCs), design submittals, shop drawings, product data, and work plans, meeting minutes, and other major correspondence. Review submittals, deliverables and other construction documents for completeness and accuracy, and for compliance with policies and procedures. Coordinate the approval process for documents and contract changes; Manage and maintain the Document Control/Change Control process for all project documents; Maintain controlled distribution lists. Receive record and compile review comments; Maintain an updated list of submittals, deliverables and other construction Documents. Report on progress of submittal, RFI, and design submittal reviews at progress meetings. Develop and maintain spreadsheets. Oversee the updates and utilization of Primavera Contract Management Software. Qualifications Approximately 3-5 years of experience working as a Project/Field Engineer on large construction project. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field. Valid California Class C driver’s license. Engineer-in-training registration is required. Registration as a Professional Engineer is desirable.
