The Printing Press Operator will be responsible for working with printing team to ensure completion of schedules working either as pressman, or operator in a dynamic work environment. Where assigned, the individual will be responsible for controlling on-press activities including the setup, maintenance, and operation of sheet-fed offset and digital presses to accurately produce product to customer and quality control specifications. The hourly pay range for this role is $30.00 to $41.00 per hour and is commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in accordance with company policy.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Works as operator or pressman on Heidelberg Versafire digital and Speedmaster XL75 6-Color offset presses. </li>\n <li>Knowledgeable in Operation, Maintenance and Set-Up of all machinery/equipment in the press shop</li>\n <li>Perform proper and timely maintenance consistent with machine operational manuals, manufacturer specific instructions and established preventive maintenance schedules</li>\n <li>Ensures run quality with continual monitoring of print processes and material performances, and lead in troubleshooting deviations when applicable</li>\n <li>Adherence to, and completion of press schedule</li>\n <li>Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with company safety guidelines, procedures and 5S standards</li>\n <li>Assist in training Press Operator and other team members as assigned</li>\n <li>Provide feedback to lead/supervisor as to continuous improvement opportunities within the department to further establish common, and well-defined practices.</li>\n <li>Perform transactional processes, and ensures system accuracy of completed print jobs</li>\n <li>Organize paper, and consumables inventory </li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic on-press problem solving/root cause analysis</li>\n <li>Ability to discern color changes, double images, position and registration changes</li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of on-press ink density management systems</li>\n <li>General understanding of color profiling systems as they apply to digital printing</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of CIP2 transferal and data usage</li>\n <li>Understanding of G7 standards and applications to on-press dot gain</li>\n <li>Knowledge of the chemistry involved in promoting an acceptable on-press balance</li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of press maintenance and exercise to maintain healthy equipment</li>\n <li>Understanding and adherence to all standard work procedures and safety requirements</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with supervisors and peers</li>\n <li>3-5 Years of prior press or press room experience preferred</li>\n <li>Demonstrates a mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn</li>\n <li>Must be capable of moving weights in range of 10 – 50 lbs.</li>\n <li>Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time</li>\n <li>Intermediate level computer knowledge</li>\n <li>Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus</li>\n <li>Ability to print accurate and quality work in the prescribed time allotted by the schedule</li>\n <li>Maintain organized, clean, and safe work environment</li>\n <li>Exemplifies versatility and a willingness to take on additional press room responsibilities</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>#LI-Onsite</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>",
