    "description": "<h2>Basic Qualifications </h2>\n<p>Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:</strong> <strong>Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire</strong>. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities for this Position</h2>\n<p>As an Aircraft Mission Systems Integration Engineer for Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3), you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for Designing, Implementing and Deploying the next generation of Strategic Weapon Systems.</p>\n<p>We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), mission systems integration with Aircraft platforms, systems and test engineering, requirement management and Agile development.</p>\n<p><strong>What sets you apart:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong knowledge of current aircraft mission systems vendors and capabilities.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience with aircraft payloads and platform integration.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience with line-of-sight and beyond line-of-sight aircraft communications systems and components.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Government modular open system approach (MOSA) standards to include open mission systems (OMS), or Government Reference Architectures (GRA).</li>\n <li>Clear understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and direct hands-on experience with industry MBSE tools for requirements development, interfaces definition, and traceability.</li>\n <li>Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles.</li>\n <li>Hardware and software development, integration, test, and validation/verification.</li>\n <li>Sufficient knowledge and experience of other related engineering disciplines to allow their integration within a design activity.</li>\n <li>Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity.</li>\n <li>Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success</li>\n <li>Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Workplace Options:</strong>This position is primarily a flex position with some on-site work required.</p>\n<p>While on-site, you will be a part of the Taunton, MA facility with occasional travel needed to our Dedham, MA location.</p>\n<p>#LI-Hybrid</p>\n<h2>Salary Note</h2>This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
