    "requisitionDescription": "<p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>The Sea Pines Resort is hiring and looking for a Pastry Cook in the Culinary Operation.</strong></p><p><strong>JOB SUMMARY</strong></p><p>Prepares all pastries, desserts, breads and other bakery items from scratch while achieving high end standards and consistency</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Reads menu to estimate food requirements and procures food from storage.</li><li>Properly measures ingredients</li><li>Understanding how to read and follow a standardized recipe card</li><li>Proper baking, tempering, seasoning/flavoring, and basic cooking skills</li><li>Adds seasoning to foods during mixing or cooking.</li><li>Observes and tests all items in the bakery during production to ensure quality and consistency</li><li>Organizes and keeps up with a clean and coherently assembled cooler and storage rooms</li><li>Washes, peels, cuts, and shreds vegetables and fruits to prepare them for use.</li><li>Basic cake decorating skills are met</li><li>Assists other departments when needed</li><li><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</strong></li></ul><p>High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of two years related F&amp;B experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p><p><strong>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</strong></p><ul><li>Valid Driver&#39;s License</li><li>ServSafe certification preferred</li></ul>\n",
